Hi, I was looking for information on dyeing with horse chesnuts and yes you can, and I remember that you have to use them when they are green. If I find the formula I will send it off to you. Gina
okay, i found some information...http://www.prairiefibers.com/Dyeing%20Notes.htm and go into her links on that page and you will have an excellent start for finding out how to dye with the chestnuts...I remember slightly that the colour comes out yellow??? a beautiful yellow...good luck...
